For over 20 years David’s career has covered advertising, marketing communications, brand development and interactive technologies. As principal of Mindshape, David is actively involved with consulting on strategic direction and creative execution. He has worked on campaigns for such well-known clients as McDonalds, Nike, City of Toronto, Credit Union Central of Canada, Beef Information Centre, CGC Inc. and Kruger Products. David continues to promote the importance of integrated brand marketing through public speaking engagements, teaching and as Chair of the Mohawk College Advertising and Communications Committee. David has a background in business studies and is a graduate of Sheridan College’s design communications program; he has judged several international marketing competitions including CMA and EDCO as well as being a frequent contributor to the Register Graphic Designers association where he has earned his RGD designation.
Louise’s strong background in direct marketing, corporate communications, research and business information management, has given her an expertise in managing multi-platform marketing programs. Louise has worked on a number of key marketing programs since joining Mindshape over seven years ago, including; City of Toronto – Economic Development Campaign, Beef Information Centre – Nutrition Campaign and University of Guelph-Humber – Brand Launch and Recruitment Marketing Program. She is an absolute professional with a fine-tuned eye for detail ensuring each program she manages is coordinated seamlessly from planning to delivery. On top of her degree in Law and Linguistics from Carleton University, Louise rounds off her account services with in-depth knowledge of media planning and current privacy policies. Her hands-on style provides a definite consistency that enables a high level of trust and reliability.
For over 12 years, Paul has developed innovative marketing programs for Fortune 500 companies in diverse sectors that include technology, consumer packaged goods and durables. His work also covers brand identity development in the public sector. Throughout his career, Paul has managed global brand transitions, developed strategic brand identities, launched innovative products and has built effective advertising campaigns.
Paul’s background in marketing strategy, along with his knowledge of qualitative and quantitative market research, makes him highly proficient in the generation of useful consumer insights that lead to marketing success. Paul has conducted research programs on behalf of clients and can also uncover valuable insights from existing research. Paul is experienced in market research, category analysis, national product launches, loyalty programs and advertising campaigns. He holds an MBA and an HBAS from Schulich, as well as a degree in psychology from Western.
Scott is an accomplished art director with over twenty years of design and studio management experience. His creative portfolio covers local and international accounts including Xerox, D&B (Dunn and Bradstreet) and Kraft Foods. With a proven knowledge of production and creative processes, Scott provides valuable insights that link ideation to tangible concepts. Technically strong and renowned for his attention to detail and ability to see the big picture, Scott consistently keeps creative strategy on time, on track and on brand. Scott is a graduate of Sheridan College’s Graphic Design program.
Angela Rea has more than 20 years experience managing media and corporate communications for some of the most well-known organizations in Canada and the UK including Bell Mobility, the Ontario Government (OTAB), the London Docklands Development Corporation, and British retail giant, Chelsea Girl. Most recently, her ten years with Hewlett-Packard as Director of Public Relations, provided her with a wealth of corporate PR experience including the largest IT merger in history (HP and Compaq). Angela's work has spanned diverse programs including those designed to: announce new products, services, alliances and customer wins; increase executive visibility; promote best practices in corporate social responsibility and environmental stewardship and manage press corps for visiting dignitaries and political leaders – such as the Prime Minister of Singapore and Chicago’s Mayor Daley.
Cathy is a marketing professional with over 20 years experience helping companies engage audiences with their brand. With a specialty in experiential marketing, she is able to work with her clients to develop high impact marketing, sales and promotional strategies. As Director, Strategic Event Management for one of the industry's largest global agencies she led an event management team of professionals who delivered events for some of Canada's top recognized brands. Her passion for strategically designed experiences that motivate and capture an audience's attention is evident in her impressive portfolio reaching internal channels (employees, sales teams) and external consumer audiences to drive positive business results. Cathy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto and a Diploma from the Toronto School of Business in Travel & Tourism.
